Photography: just for fun
Checking out Digital Photography
By Susan Feigenbaum
I have reached 62 and I am proud of it. I tried a lot of things in my life, some successful, some not. But the thing that is giving me the most satisfaction is my new love, photography. I always wished for the ability to paint or create something. I was lucky if I could draw a straight line or put two circles together. All my attempts looked like first grade drawings.
Along came the digital camera and with it, some wonderful and easy software programs. My wish is now starting to come true. I have a long way to go but as the song says “I’m having a lot of fun along the way.”
I use a program called ImageBlender made by Tech4learning. With ImageBlender, I was able to take the photo of my friends, Bob and Kathy and place them in the eyes of Kathy’s cat.
You can find ImageBlender on line at www.Tech4learning.com. I have been able to see things in a different light and put together pictures that I am proud to hang on the walls. Now I could use some more wall space. The program offers me the options of creating paintings, distorting pictures, styling to my taste and mixing different pictures together to create my own scene.
Try it, you might like it.
